It’s one of Scotland’s most infamous roads, and tonight, it’s closed again.
The A83 at the Rest and Be Thankful has been hit by no fewer than 11 landslips after a weekend of heavy rain – the worst in a new location along the route.
For communities in Argyll, it means long diversions, disrupted lives, and mounting frustration.
Meanwhile, uncertainty is growing over whether the proposed tunnel will truly solve the problem in one of Scotland’s most landslip-prone areas.
