A man who dressed as a woman to abduct an 11-year-old girl in the Borders is facing the equivalent of a life sentence.
53-year-old Andrew Miller has admitted sexually assaulting his victim, after locking her up at his home near Melrose.
The judge called the crimes “abhorrent and depraved”. The First Minister has described them as “disgusting.”
And once again concerns have been raised about the issues surrounding gender identity.
