Landowners say ‘stereotypes’ should not influence policy

The Scottish Government is preparing to introduce new legislation which will widen land ownership

It’s claimed the debate over land ownership in Scotland should not be decided by ‘outdated stereotypes’.

But the body which represents Scottish landowners says the focus should be on a sector which contributes £2.5 billion to the economy.
