Land purchase orders issued for Nairn bypass and A96 dualling

Many locals have been calling for a bypass for fifty years

Plans to dual the A96 and create a bypass for Nairn are a step closer after the Scottish Government issued orders to purchase land for the new route.

No timetable is in place yet. but business leaders say it’ll hugely benefit the area.
