A lack of agreement on funding for the A9 dualling “significantly contributed” to the delay which means it will not be delivered next year.
A report by the inquiry into the handling of the project says it’s also concerned whether there will be enough funding to allow it to be completed by 2035, ten years after the initial completion date.
