Labour has repeated calls for a windfall tax on oil companies which they say will help millions of households. And they’ve accused the UK Government of failing to tackle the cost of living crisis in the Queen’s Speech.

So far the chancellor has resisted calls for a windfall tax, although he warned oil companies that ‘nothing was off the table’ if they fail to invest. Steven Brown reports.
