Keepers at Blair Drummond Safari Park in Stirlingshire have created an enrichment programme, within its one-of-a-kind “Chimp Island”.
The changes are designed to optimise the physical and mental welfare of the chimps and encourage important species to specific natural behaviours.
And when STV News went along for a rare look, we found ourselves in the middle of a monkey birthday bash – and of course, things did not go exactly to plan.
