Junior doctors in Scotland offered 14.5% pay increase

BMA Scotland said it has put the deal to members without taking a position

After weeks of ‘intense discussions’, junior doctors across Scotland have been offered a 14.5% pay rise in an attempt to avert a national strike.

The Scottish Government says its offer is the best it can do and hopes it will be enough to prevent doctors taking to the picket line, as seen in England.
