“It’s been a long fight, but it’s been worth it’’ – the words of residents who’ve campaigned for a fair deal for their RAAC-affected homes in Aberdeen that are set to be demolished.
Homeowners living with the potentially dangerous concrete will now be offered a pre-RAAC valuation for their property.
Many residents say this will mean they no longer face bankruptcy and homelessness.
There are now calls for other local authorities to follow.
