An investigation has been launched into the death of a young woman at a Glasgow hospital – seven years after she first became seriously ill with an infection there.
Molly Cuddihy was a teenage cancer patient at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in 2018 when she developed the infection, which left her with long term health implications.
It’s understood the 23-year-old died on Tuesday night in the high dependency unit of the same hospital, after developing another infection there.
