An Inverness woman who’s needed hospital treatment around 50 times in the last 13 years after suffering from endometriosis is calling for a faster diagnosis and better care for the condition.
Fay Cartwright was forced to have a medically induced menopause at 31 to try and tackle the debilitating pain it caused her.
The average waiting time for a diagnosis has now reached more than 9 years.
Fay launched a support group in the city to help others.
