Inverness pedestrianisation plans ‘poor value for money’

Highland Council says the report is based on the worst-case scenario.

A report into plans to pedestrianise part of Academy Street in Inverness has found the proposals are poor value for money.

It says there could be a wider economic boost of up to £4m, but may result in heavier traffic elsewhere.
