Inverness businesses concerned after drop in tourist numbers

It comes ahead of a planned consultation on the controversial tourist tax.

Hoteliers in Inverness say they’re concerned after a drop in visitor numbers during the summer’s high season.

Almost 10,000 fewer guests stayed overnight in hotels in the Highland capital in July and August compared to the same time last year.
