Inverclyde first to provide free meals for all primary pupils

The Scottish Government had planned to expand free meals to primary six and sevens last year but it's not now expected to happen until 2024

Inverclyde has become the first part of Scotland to provide free school meals for all primary pupils.

They’re already available to children in primary one to five across the country – but now the local authority is extending that to older children.
