Inquiry hears evidence in £11m Children’s hospital refurbishment

It had been described as state of the art but over the years it was plagued with problems

A public inquiry has heard a complaint was made about the smell of sewage in a cancer ward even after an £11 million refurbishment at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.

Evidence is being heard about multiple problems with the building including contamination which led to patients being moved out for several years.
