Industry warns Edinburgh tourist tax bas for business

It could see those staying charged as much as £2 a night on top of their bill

A tax on tourists could put people off from visiting Edinburgh, and send the message the sector is a “bad thing”, according to industry experts.

It comes as the Scottish Government proceeds with the levy scheme.
