Indigo Sun advert pulled after watchdog brands it ‘irresponsible’

The Stirling-based company said it will withdraw the animated video in the coming days.

An advert by the UK’s largest sunbed company has been banned following complaints that it was misleading and socially irresponsible.

Stirling-based company Indigo Sun has agreed to take the video down, and pledged to promote responsible tanning following the ban by the Advertising Standards Authority

But the firm also said it “respectfully disagrees with certain aspects of the ASA’s conclusions”.
