Hundreds of schoolchildren take part in the Daily Mile’s tenth anniversary

The initiative was started with the aim of helping improve the mental and physical health of pupils.

The founder of the Daily Mile school challenge “never thought” it would become something schools across the world would take part in. It’s been ten years since the initiative was started by a school in Stirling with the aim of helping improve the mental and physical health of pupils.

Hundreds of school children from across Dundee have been running, walking and wheeling the Daily Mile. Felicity Clifford reports.
