One of Scotland’s largest maritime events is getting underway in the Aberdeenshire village of Portsoy.
The annual festival celebrates the North East’s maritime heritage, with dozens of historic fishing vessels on display in the harbour.
Kicking off the event tonight is Scottish folk band Manran.
More than 10,000 people are expected over the weekend.
