Holyrood urged to provide more funding for NHS Grampian

Increasing demand, rising costs and tighter budget, pressure continues to mount on our health service

The Scottish Government has been urged to step in and provide more funding for NHS Grampian as it attempts to make savings of more than £70 million.

The health board met today amid what they’ve described as an unprecedented situation, grappling with rising costs.

The Scottish Conservatives have called for a cash injection but the Scottish Government insists it is making significant investment and increasing funding for health boards.
