The First Minister says the Scottish Government will set out its position on an inquiry into grooming gangs before Christmas.
It comes after growing pressure to investigate the scale of the issue in Scotland.
John Swinney is due to meet with a young woman, who claims she was sexually abused by a gang of up to ten men, while a teenager in care.
The woman, whose identity we have hidden, believes she has been failed by the authorities that should have been protecting her.
