Holyrood pledges funding to help with Storm Babet aftermath

Motorists on the main road between Dundee and Aberdeen got moving again today

The clean-up following Storm Babet continues, and four days after the main route connecting the central belt with Aberdeen and Dundee was severed, traffic has started flowing again, but there’s already growing frustration in flood communities along its length.

The Scottish Government repeated funding pledges for local authorities today but residents in the worst-affected areas say the help can’t come soon enough.
