A Highland mother is backing a UK-wide campaign to make it compulsory for GPs to test for Type 1 diabetes, if a child shows certain symptoms.
Marion Irvine’s son Ivor has the condition.
She’s urging people to sign a petition to back Lyla’s Law.
It’s named after two-year-old Lyla Story from Hull, who died after her diabetes was missed by doctors.
