Highland athlete to compete in world powerlifting championships

The 29-year-old will be competing against some of the sport’s strongest contenders.

A Highland-based athlete hopes to take the top podium spot as she flies to the US next month to compete in the world powerlifting championships.

Charley Penney’s rise to the elite level of her sport comes just over a year after her first competitive event.
