An Edinburgh hair salon has been overwhelmed by the feedback in just 24 hours, after offering free haircuts to those struggling with the cost of living.

Cabell Hair in South Gyle decided to turn a quiet day in the diary into a freebie for those who are finding it difficult to make ends meet.
