Those living along the route want Scottish and Southern Energy to rethink the plans

There’s growing opposition to giant electricity pylons that’ll stretch for 66 miles from Aberdeenshire to Angus through prime farmland.

At 180 feet high, the towering steel structures are the equivalent of more than 12 double decker buses stacked on top of each other.

But the power company says the development is vital to transmit green energy and fulfill Net Zero targets.
