A group in East Dunbartonshire is looking to bring a 197-year-old derelict church back into community ownership.
Friends of Campsie High Kirk in Lennoxtown will acquire the abandoned church for just £1 in May.
The group is hoping to turn the old place of worship into an events space for theatre performances, meetings, and concerts.
The group are now on the hunt for funding to bring the big project to life.
