Green light for North Sea massive floating offshore windfarm

Its backers say the decision will create around £3bn in investment.

Just days after a key climate target was ditched, one of the world’s biggest offshore floating windfarms is set to be built off the north east coast.

The Green Volt Project has received the green light and will see up to 35 turbines located off Peterhead.
