The health secretary has told STV News he’s confident an agreement can be reached with resident doctors to prevent a planned strike over pay in January.
Neil Gray says there are areas for compromise, but any deal must be fair to all NHS staff.
Resident doctors, formerly known as junior doctors, say talks held this morning were “candid and constructive,” and will continue over the Christmas period.
