A woman whose lung cancer was caught early with the help of AI has praised the “incredible” speed of her diagnosis and treatment.
Diane McCallum was referred for a chest X-ray after struggling with a long-term, persistent cough.
She told STV News the AI software that flagged up an abnormality and placed her case in a priority pile saved precious time.
