GPs ‘weren’t consulted on new walk-in centres plan’

The First Minister said the Scottish Government will open a nationwide network of walk-in GP surgeries across the country.

The Royal College of GPs says there are many unanswered questions surrounding the idea.

The health minister insists it’s all about beating the morning rush for appointments and has pledged to involve doctors in designing the system.
