The chair of the UK Covid Inquiry said the UK and Scottish governments’ response to the pandemic was ‘too little, too late’.
In a report published on Thursday, Baroness Hallet said both governments were unprepared, and had restrictions been introduced sooner, lives could have been saved.
Relatives who lost loved ones during the pandemic say lessons need to be learned.
