Golfers ‘shocked’ over decision to close Caird Park course

Meanwhile councillors voted to delay a decision on the future of Broughty Castle until early next year.

Golfers say they are “shocked” at Dundee City Council’s decision to close the Caird Park course.

The local authority says the move will save Leisure and Culture Dundee hundreds of thousands of pounds amid growing financial pressure.
