It was celebrated as a huge success for the city a decade ago – and now Glasgow could be in the running to host the Commonwealth Games, again, in two years time.
Talks have been ongoing since Australia withdrew – unsuccessfully so far – to find another host.
Now it’s emerged a back-up plan has been drawn up for the competition to return to Glasgow if talks with other countries fail.
