Glasgow community group tacking isolation in women refugees

Women from all over the world have joined forces, to offer emotional and practical support and forge new community bonds

In recent years, Scotland has been praised for giving a warm welcome to refugees and asylum seekers.

But with immigration policy restricting financial support and the freedom to work, it’s still an isolating time for those hoping to settle here.
