Fujitsu boss apologises for company’s role in Post Office scandal

He acknowledged those problems had been edited out of witness statements provided by Fujitsu staff

Fujitsu’s European boss has described as “shameful” and “appalling” the editing of witness statements to defend the faulty Horizon IT system used in the prosecutions of sub-postmasters.

Paul Patterson began his evidence this morning with an apology – but a sub-postmaster from North Lanarkshire says that isn’t good enough.

She says her mental health has suffered after encountering 10 thousand pounds worth of mystery shortfalls in 10 years.
