Free CPR lessons for visitors at Edinburgh Castle

Every year there are over 3,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests in Scotland.

Today, tourists have been getting more than just a history lesson during their visit to Edinburgh Castle.

To mark ‘Restart A Heart Day,’ first aiders have been giving free CPR training to visitors to increase the survival rate of cardiac arrests and raise awareness.
