Fraudster jailed after stealing from friend’s dead daughter’s charity

A mother who set up a charity in memory of her daughter says the ripple effect of hurt caused by a fraudster runs deep.

Angela MacVicar once considered Lindsay McCallum her best friend, but she says she’s been left totally bereft by a person who “fooled everybody”.

The former fundraiser is serving a three-year jail term after admitting to a decade of deceit, embezzling almost £100,000 pounds from two charities.
