Four-fold increase in foodbank use since pandemic say charities

One organisation has described the economic crisis as "worse than 2008" when financial markets crashed

Charities are reporting a four-fold increase in demands on foodbanks in the north of Scotland since the pandemic.

And a new trend is also emerging with people from affluent areas joining the queue for advice.
