Granton’s former gasholder has officially opened as a public park today after years of development works to preserve the historic site.
It comes a part of a £1.3bn regeneration project of the waterfront, which will see thousands of homes built in the area.
It’s hoped that as well as a park, the space could be used to hold outdoor events in the future.
