An apology and an admission of incompetence have been given by the man who led Dundee University to financial collapse.
Grilled by MSPs for three hours, Professor Iain Gillespie said he would ‘reflect’ on repeated requests to hand back a £150,000 payoff.
It comes as the university received an extra £40m bailout of public money, with 300 jobs set to go.
