Foot passengers to face delays amid ferry gangway issues

Passengers now need to wait for all vehicles to leave the car deck - before they can walk off.

Foot passengers on ferries to Lewis are set to face months of delays in disembarking while the port works to fix issues with the main gangway.

The Stornoway Port Authority is apologising for the disruption – but insists passengers exiting through the car deck is the safest option.
