It looks like the cost of our weekly shop is finally starting to fall, as the price of every day essentials like milk and sunflower oil have reduced slightly.
New figures show grocery inflation has fallen for the 5th month in a row, after a spike in prices last year trigged by the war in Ukraine.
But shoppers still face high costs across “every supermarket shelf,” which charities are concerned could create a malnutrition crisis amongst vulnerable groups.
