FM sets out economic plan for an independent Scotland

Nicola Sturgeon said Scotland would continue to use the pound and move to its own currency as soon as practicable

Shortly after the Chancellor made his statement, the First Minister set out her economic case for independence.

The First Minister also said an independent Scotland would look to join the EU, and there would be physical checks on goods at the border with England. Opposition parties say key questions remain unanswered.
