Flu deaths have hit a 45-year high in Scotland, with the number of people dying almost doubling so far this year compared to last.

Meanwhile, flu vaccinations this winter were down by a fifth.

One woman who lives with a lung disease says she’s been forced to restrict her lifestyle due to the threat of flu and would like the Scottish Government to widen out the age group for those eligible for a vaccine.
