Fishing industry calls for rethink of sea conservation zones

Fishing would be banned in the areas in an effort to better protect vulnerable ecosystems

Fishing industry leaders are calling on the Scottish Government to have a “radical rethink” on plans to introduce new conservation zones at sea.

Critics say the strategy could have a devastating impact on the fishing industry and coastal communities.
