First part of Edinburgh Granton Waterfront development opens

The opening of Granton Station Square is the first major milestone in the £1.3 billion regeneration

A derelict Edinburgh train station has been transformed into a new creative hub and public square.

The project, which is funded through they City Region Deal, will also see thousands of new homes, a doctor’s surgery and a primary school built in the area.
