First MSP swears allegiance to King Charles III

Before returning to normal parliamentary business, MSPs also took a final opportunity to pay tribute to the Queen

Following yesterday’s final goodbye to the monarch as she was laid to rest – a new MSP has become the first to swear allegiance to the King as proceedings at Holyrood resumed.
