First Minister unveils walk-in GP centres to ease pressure across Scotland

John Swinney spoke on the final day of the SNP conference in Aberdeen on Monday.

The First Minister has announced a network of walk-in GP centres across Scotland to end the morning rush for appointments.

John Swinney says the first of 15 centres will be opened within the year.

The SNP leader also attacked what he called a “race to the right at Westminster”.

He was addressing delegates at the SNP conference in Aberdeen.
