First Minister dismisses calls to suspend Sturgeon from SNP

Humza Yousaf first few weeks at the helm have been overshadowed by the state of his party

The First Minister is dismissing calls from his opponents to suspend Nicola Sturgeon from the SNP.

Humza Yousaf is disregarding a leaked video from 2021 which shows his predecessor saying there was no reason to be concerned about the SNP’s finances.

Today Humza Yousaf said the SNP was on a “steady footing” although he admitted it would have been good to know about things before he took over.
